Now when I logged in to check my bank is empty. Then I switched
to transfer some items, put them in bank, and swapped back.. all were
gone again & bank empty. Tried a couple times before I just stopped
using bank.

I'll be honest, bros. I really have no idea what happened to the bank. This forced me to restore to my last backup. Lost almost all character-related progress for about the last 30 or so hours. Hopefully this doesn't happen again. I'll continue looking for a problem. May even be foul play, but I doubt it.

I'm not sure if this is tied to the bank error/roll back but I started playing yesterday and lost my character. My account is still active. Had a lvl 36 gnome wizard.

Trust me... I was looking for stuff like that. There's only one script that deletes anything from the item table. I started to wonder if someone named themself *. Shouldn't matter though. I have checks in place for stuff like that.

I dont understand half the things you are talking about but is there anything that people can do? Or look for while they are playing? Or help in anyway?

Only thing I can think of is simply report anything that looks wrong. I sometimes suspect it is related to session variables, multi-tabbing, multi-browsers, and even double logging in with two accounts. There are some edge cases like that where I could see problems cropping up. Examining some of these edges cases is on my to-do list.

items still disappearing here as well. I was doing boss runs. After each run, I saved (top right button) then relogged. (Even waited for the account loading)... My bank isnt saving the items I put into it.


EDIT: I just tested a few things. First, my bank kept reverting back to a certain save point. Because the same two rows kept coming back. So I then tried to move a few items from these two rows to different slots. Now when I enter, the items I moved are gone.

Welp it seems more rollbacks are coming if this is still happening :/

It must be a new issue because i didn't hear banks reseting the past year or two, so something you did to change, probably the fix to the nasty character reset bug might have caused it..

Bank slots are still there. Appears to be a separate issue... I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem. I've never experienced it myself.

One thing I could do is only show the items moving after the server confirms the exchange. Right now the client moves them instantly, but locks the screen until it confirms. I'm pretty sure WoW and EQ were both like this.

Still doing it this morning. Moved a few items then relogged and the items I moved were gone.

As long as I don't use my bank for now, am I safe to play without worrying about a character rollback?

Is anyone else having this problem? Maybe there's something particular about your account or your character name ???? ... I'll have to check tonight.

So equipment and inventory work perfectly... bank destroys everything it touches?

I think I know what the problem is. Just leave the bank alone until tonight.
