The experience shown in the "Chain Combo Bonus Experience" popup seems to show a different amount to the actual amount gained according to the combat log. The combat log however, is accurate. This appears to occur with every enemy, not just the one listed.

The experience does still increased with combos, just not to the listed amount in the popup.

I am level 36, enemy was level 18 in example. 13% bonus experience. Halfling Monk.

For example:

Orc Scoutsman
221x chain combo
+360 experience in combat log (accurate)
+504 chain combo experience bonus (inaccurate)

I just wasn't sure if the experience is supposed to go down as you out-level the enemies. The experience seems to rather exponentially increase as you level, so I assume farming low level enemies won't end up being a great method to level up once you're quite highly levelled.

Makes sense. I know what is causing this. There are exp penalties for fighting low-level mobs, so the popup message is not taking that into consideration. I believe the "You have earned" message is accurate and the popup is not. That's because the popup is just reporting too early without checking with the server to see what kind of penalty gets applied. So it should be over-reporting the exp earned in the popup (it's lying to you).
