Sets are nice but would be nice if bis items were the yellow ones!, the really lucky good roll ones. (or are they now?). Also, sets that scale with level, that could save some production time.


I really love when random roll items are the best, it gives me sense of excitement because i never know what might drop. But when sets are best, then i can just look on wiki and know :/ And even if i don't, i just get the set items and.. Game done? But when yellows are the best then i can play as much as i want and know that maybe a better item can drop

Oh i got a good idea for end game progress. How about make a dungeon that you can unlock by paying gold, that has different bosses:
-1st boss has lots of health, it counters burst champs
-2nd boss does lots of damage, counters squishies
-3rd boss reduces your heal spells power
-4th boss has 50% DOT defense
etc..


These dungeons would be only doable by max geared characters lvl 95+, and would be the only ones to drop a certain item that goes into a unique slot. Every next level of these dungeons can drop a better one. It makes a good progression no? You gotta make a well rounded character, and adjust your build according to the bosses you have to fight, and also the random items you get can have higher and higher values the more you go up in these dungeons.

Yep, I'd like to make some "end-game" challenges like that. Rare items can be pretty good, but a mix of uniques and set items are probably best. The best thing about rares is that they have no level requirement. The set items certainly aren't designed to be BiS, but they're definitely designed to be very good. If it's a hard decision to determine what's BiS then I think I've done my job.

In one of the monk threads, beaster posted some bugged rare boots that are probably worth a few billion dollars IRL.

This pleases me. Time to level the Bard and Ranger while I wait now that all the data loss shenanigans are fixed.

If everything goes as planned, they'll go into the game late tonight. We'll see how long it takes me to put them in the loot table. The update will also fix the minor shield tooltip bugs and nerf Charged Bolts a bit.

When i wake up tomorrow there should be new sets huh Hopefully i can still kill mobs after the nerf ^^
