Have you tried reloading the page? I had that happen once, I think it happened because I accidentally opened a second tab, which I believe invalidates the first.
If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what else could be the cause.

Yes. I logged out and logged back in, to discover that all my progress for the session had been lost--but I am now receiving experience again.
So this can be called fixed.

Have you tried turning it off and on? Blowing in the cartridge? Hitting it?

Hm, yes. On occasion multi-tabbing is known to cause issues. In any case I'll look into fixing this.
