Shamans are utility healers that focus on ancient voodoo magic, regeneration, poison, and disease. Among the healers, they have the most vicious damage over time spells. They can summon a guardian spirit to fight by their side, though they are among the weakest pets in the game. Shamans bring a lot of utility to the table as well, with slows, freezes and the ability to cannibalize for on-demand mana recovery.
