Rangers are offensive hybrids with a combination of melee and spells. Rangers rely on bows to do most of their damage, though the use swords and spells as well. Among all classes rangers have the best tracking, which helps find rare monsters. Their spells provide added utility including some damage, healing, and some crowd control. Many of their skills are shared with warriors and druids. Rangers unlock spells at level 9.

Skill Learned Type Description
Ranger Skill Track.png Track Level 1 Utility Cooldown: 180 Seconds. Attempt to track your quarry to find valued targets in the zone.
Ranger Skill Rapid Shot.png Rapid Shot Level 1 Damage Rapid Strike hits three times for physical bow damage.
If no bow is equipped, magic arrows are fired instead.
Ranger Skill Counter Shot.png Counter Shot Level 3 Damage
Interrupt
Cooldown: Physical damage received has a 15% chance to activate Counter Shot. Counter Shot hits for physical bow damage. Effect: Interrupts your target's spell and absorbs mana.
If no bow is equipped, magic arrows are fired instead.
Ranger Skill Trueshot Arrow.png Trueshot Arrow Level 6 Damage Cooldown: 30 Seconds. Trueshot Arrow hits your target twice for physical bow damage. A successful parry has a 10% chance to amplify your next trueshot arrow by 50%.
If no bow is equipped, magic arrows are fired instead.

Alteration
Cooldown: 16 Seconds. Light healing heals for a light amount of hit points.

Faerie Flame ticks for magic damage every second for 21 seconds. Effect: Increases all damage inflicted by 15%
Ranger Skill Ignite.png Ignite Level 13 Damage
Evocation
Cooldown: 10 Seconds. Ignite hits your target for fire damage.
Ranger Skill Thistlecoat.png Thistlecoat Level 15 Buff
Abjuration
Thistlecoat buffs your armor and reflects damage when hit by physical attacks for 40 minutes.
Ranger Skill Snare.png Snare Level 17 Debuff
Alteration
Cooldown: 5 Seconds. Snare reduces your target's mobility and attack speed by 33%. Effects: Increases the numbers of arrows fired by Volley Shot by 1. Increases parry's chance to amplify your next Trueshot Arrow by 7%. Increases received physical damage's chance to active Coutner Shot by 5%.

Feet Like Cat buffs your agility for 36 minutes.

Shield of Brambles reflects damage when hit by physical attacks for 15 minutes.
Ranger Skill Warders Rift.png Warder's Rift Level 24 Debuff
Conjuration
Warder's Rift envelopes your target inside an umbral barrier. All damage between you and the target is reduced by 33.7% for 35 seconds.
Ranger Skill Spirit of the Wolf.png Spirit of the Wolf Level 28 Buff
Alteration
Spirit of the Wolf buffs your attack power and your mobility for 30 minutes. Effects: Increases the numbers of arrows fired by Volley Shot by 1. Increases parry's chance to amplify your next Trueshot Arrow by 7%. Increases received physical damage's chance to active Coutner Shot by 5%.
Ranger Skill Volley Shot.png Volley Shot Level 32 Damage Cooldown: 20 Seconds. Volley Shot hits random targets for physical bow damage. More arrows are fired as the number of targets increases.
1 target: 5 shots
2 target: 7 shots
3 target: 9 shots
4 target: 12 shots
5 target: 15 shots
If no bow is equipped, magic arrows are fired instead.
Ranger Skill Weapon Shield.png Weapon Shield Level 38 Damage avoidance Weapon Shield ripostes all physical attacks for 10 seconds.
