You can't, but I think that's something I could add eventually. Until then I'd just camp out. The load times aren't that bad I didn't see the same thing with charm. I charmed a griffon and beat down Beanu Mucktail pretty badly. I'll try a few more times. Make sure you target properly. It targets your target.

don't know, it was happening in Greater Fay, might just be me. I refreshed, and was able to get Pixies to charm and work.

Curious. Maybe an intermittent bug of some kind.

two bugs i noticed while working on my necromancer 1. sometimes Cascading Darkness will do more damage than it should. the increased damage per tick lasts until the effect wears off. recasting Darkness will reset the damage per tick to the normal amount. 2. sometimes after Fear wears off, mobs will quit attacking for the remainder of the fight. i was able to kill a level 28 croc in Lavastorm at like level 9 when this bug hit. (took soooo long though, and i only got 2 yellows of EXP -- would have been quicker exp if i had chained a bunch of lower level mobs in that same amount of time) i haven't figured out a reliable way to reproduce the bugs, but they happen fairly often for me with Chrome Version 28.0.1500.72 m p.s. necros are so overpowered haha. just like classic EQ though. the difference between my necro and my warrior is astounding. p.p.s oh, also -- i started a shadow knight as well, and his Death Strike lifetap at level 4 is consistently healing him for 0 damage. would be nice and IMO not unbalancing if that ability had a guaranteed minimum heal of 1.

1. Cascading darkness is suppose to increase its damage as it ticks, when you recast it on a mob it will start back at its base damage and start ticking again. 2. I had the same issue with Fear, its fixed on firefox, but haven't checked chrome since he made the update. Make sure to Shift+Left click refesh, or go to tools, clear browsing data, and unclick all but clear cache. Lol Necro, Shaman, Mage, and Wizard are all OP. Necro more then the others once you get your second dot. You can kill 3 to 5 levels above you easy, and have up to 4 mobs all dotted at the same time. It is my favorite class. Just think how much more OP they will be with gear. Mage once they get the orb aoe spell is just sick, and shaman dot and dd are crazy. Wizard is just fun because of the fast recast. All the melee characters are slow, but they are so gear reliant that it will probably be hard to get them post level 10 or 15 without weapon drops and armor. I'm leveling a Paladin, which has not been so bad so far.

Corpse explosion bug. Has a chance to be usable when you log and on your first fight without any mobs dying.

1. Pretty sure that is working as intended. The damage is supposed to increase with each tick, hence the "cascading" part of it. So I think this is okay. 2. I think you're right. I have seen this happen on occasion. Let me take a look and see if I can figure it out. I was hoping this was fixed, but apparently it's not. 3. Yes, necros are pretty powerful, but they get in a lot of trouble if their pet dies. Magicians are pretty similar, I think. Naturally pure casters can dish it out, but I think the melee classes are always more reliant on equipment in almost every RPG I can think of. I think melee should shine a lot with more margin for error once they get the proper gear. 4. Death Strike fixed to provide at least 1 hp

Having a hard time duplicating that fear problem. I wonder what it is. I'll have to spend some time tracing every possible thing.

i hate to add more stuff to your list so soon... but i just rolled a gnome wizard, and every time he tries to cast a spell while his racial ability is active it causes the spell bar to freeze. only way out of it is to refresh and eat a death. p.s. just checked those muddites in the beholder maze, and they're the perfect size/graphic

Odd numbers are coming up when casting any skills on any toon.
a runaway clockwork begins to cast a spell. You pierced a runaway clockwork for 8 damage. You pierced a runaway clockwork for 8 damage. a runaway clockwork casts Fireball on YOU for 8 damage. a runaway clockwork hits YOU for 1 damage. You pierced a runaway clockwork for 7 damage. a runaway clockwork begins to cast a spell. 2000,0,0 2000 2000 You begin casting Lava Bolt. You cast Lava Bolt on a runaway clockwork for 17 damage. You have slain a runaway clockwork! You have found 3 gold. You have earned experience!
The 2000,0,0 2000 2000 is what I'm talking about
This might have something to do with the updates your doing tonight? but it is affecting my necromancer mage, and wizard. Looks like its the cast tier's in thousands of a second. or something

Seems all mobs in all zones and levels are casting fireball. My level 5 shaman, and my 30 necro are figting mobs that chain cast fireball. I have tried 5 zones now and every monster I fight casts it.

No doubt, I got my first death on my necro for pulling to many mobs, finding out they all chain casted fireball . Once all the equipment patches are out. I plan to restart all my characters, and try to get all level 50's with 0 deaths. Plus I think He said he is going to be adding a hardcore mode to the game later on, so that should be fun as well.

One other juicy tidbit I think you will like: I will be adding champion versions of mobs similar to Diablo 2. So they'd have 50% more HP and a special trait, like extra strong, extra fast, ensnaring aura, phased aura, impaired aura, dauntless, headstrong, fire enchanted, cold enchanted, lightning enchanted, vampiric, mana drain, summoner, chromatic, tough, healthy, concussive aura, conviction aura, and disruptive aura. I'll leave you to guess what they do
