Class Tweaks Questions. Is it possible to allow warriors, and Knights be able to have an arrow attack, like to fire the bow, based on the delay of the bow? Just think it would be cool to use some of the nice bows on classes other then Rangers.
Bards: Are bard songs suppose to increase the song abilities with skill? Other wise why raise the skill? Are you adding instruments to the game to move into inventory to modifiy songs? Just wondering.

Bard skills definitely affect skill effectiveness. It's pretty easy to see with the first damage skill you get. No bard instruments are planned quite yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them implemented later. It would basically work how ranger's bows do now. You can still use the skill using "magic arrows", but it does much more damage with a good bow. In fact, I am going to buff the impact a bow has on the bow skills' damage. I think I would make bard instruments a range slot item in the same way, unlike Everquest.

Re: warriors and SKs using bow. I don't really have a plan for that. It never really fit with the vision of the class. At most I'd maybe give them a "pull" move to start combat. It wouldn't be a skill to use in combat as rangers can. Nonetheless, bows will get stats later and warriors/SKs and many others can benefit from that.

another enchanter bug. After using Cajoling Whispers after a short time, The pet becomes stunned, and when it wears off makes for a easy exp kill since you don't get attacked. It happens while your attacking with charmed pet , and during meditation.

Not sure how you're doing it. I charmed a pet and they were never stunned. They always continue attacking even after it wears off. Can you provide more detail?

Checked it out, and seems the enchanter isn't having issues on Chrome.
Can you make a warrior and level a warrior, and tell me if its Me, but The warrior melee skills suck, after level 3 they can't kill even con's, and you would think with their skill in the weapon they are using that their stam and str would allow them to stay alive and hold their own. It just feels very weak. I had to level to 9 on level 1's - 3's. even with max weapon skill, and full azure armor.

I'll take a look, but you might want to equip a shield. It helps slam's damage out a lot.

Playing a cleric, I found a buckler which I can't equip. Clerics in EQ were able to use most shields, so I'm just wondering if this is a miss or not.

It should work? You cannot double-click primary/secondary slot items to equip them. Try actually clicking the destination slot.

I should probably try to fix this since it is a GUI inconsistency. The code is more difficult due to the myriad of combinations in the primary and secondary slots.

Drete: I just fixed this problem on test, so you should be able to double-click shields, offhand items, and weapons now. It will work as long as it's a possible swap. For example, you cannot swap a shield in while using a 2h mace.

I just found another thing that isn't a bug per se, but still a bit pointless - I just found a shield with +2-hand blunt skill on it. This could also possibly apply to weapons as far as I know, IE a 2-handed slasher with 2-handed blunt skill. Would it be easy to alter this?

Actually, yes! I'll fix this. I already though of this for weapons, but I didn't think about it for shields. The good news is weapons will only appear with their own skill type upgraded, including one-handers.
Update: Was a very easy fix. Done already, but this update won't hit the server until the next update. Let me know if you see any more absurd combos like that.

Just started a ranger, and the first loot item I got was a plate girdle - lo and behold, even though it's glowing red, I can equip it!
