Act 4 galeblast fortress 4, dragon at end keeps respawning, is it purposely added to be a secret farming place or just a bug you missed? Or maybe it only happens to new accounts that were made in the buggy last week or two?


If it's a bug, it'd be nice to fix before bringing the new sets in, because it's too easy to farm like this.

PS; how about a new policy? If you report a bug that can give you advantage, you get crystals? Because this probably isn't the only one and someone might be hiding and exploiting it.

Hell Nimgaul was still better than farming Matron for the most part, especially if you can chain effectively. Some items only drop off of 95+ mobs as well.

Really? That's good to know! I'm gonna start to see if i can farm that. But yeah the dragon was easy because of his slow basic attacks that my mirror defends perfectly against. I'm also using daimyo set for the crit and crit dmg on my lightning wiz now and it seems to be working much better than my last gear xD

K i just tried dire sanctum last boss and keep dying because i can't finish him off before second spell that insta kills me.. Brb trying again

Yes.

I don't even farm bosses at all unless I mess up my chain and kill the last guy which forces me to progress through the quest to restart the game again. The very vast majority of loot I've gotten is from run of the mill regular mobs, chained to a very high level especially. I guess if you can't chain well you'd be stuck just doing the quest over and over.

I'm a wizard, with current gear i'm just insta shotting 1 by 1 mob, if i try 2 or more mobs at once there's a chance a rare with lighning resistance will appear so i don't do it xD

A reason I shall never play the wizard! XD

I think ill try level my druid today or something. Is he better at chaining?

I don't know much about druids specifically though I've heard they are pretty strong up until Hell where they too lose the ability to chain quite as well. In my experience Monks at end game can chain super well and up through Nightmare at the very least I can swarm 5 mobs at a time constantly on my Ranger.

Any mage type that can chain well? Clerics, enchanters etc?

Enchanters are exceptional at it as the Charm mechanic completely negates the dropping of your chain. A quick glance at the leaderboard also shows that Clerics seem decently adept at chaining as well, as the only Cleric to have currently beat Hell on Softcore is 4th over all for chains.

She (cleric) can only chain in nightmare though - hell is too much of a risk as it takes too long for the mobs to go down and when a double ambush happens, she has to run or take a dive down the boards.

The reason for the huge chains is experience gain - the xp in nightmare blows but she can chain for as long as I can bear to continue. In hell, it only takes a failure to run and hours of grinding has gone.

Once/if she gets to 99, I think I'll take her back and try chaining again in hell as then the xp loss wont be so irritating/rage inducing

Interesting. Good to hear from one of the few of your class. I'm very interested in the less talked about/played classes and how they feel.

To be honest maybe we should wait for new sets, i bet some classes might become a lot more viable with them.

I agree. Some of the current sets are very poorly itemized and some of their bonuses aren't even good so that also changes a bit.

I keep thinking about doing a guide for clerics but then I worry that people will realise that I don't actually wtf I am doing

I might try out Cleric with one of my last 2 slots I currently have. Not too many of you guys bombing around.
