That adds +magic damage to your weapons. I should add a tooltip though. http://nevergrind.com/blog/nevergrind-p ... es-0-8-97/

Thanks! Yes, the Bard's design was kind of a nightmare because everything was different. I can see why there were so many Bard-specific bugs in classic EQ. Do you think the Bard's singing time is too fast? I thought about nerfing it today lol...

Singing speed doesn't affect most of their sources of damage; DoTs, charmed pet auto attacks, and player auto attacks. Maybe place a short CD on Boastful Bellow and Dissension if you want to prevent the bard from spamming them? Past early levels the mana cost is no longer a deterrent. Btw, of the five maintenance buffs, Elemental Rhythms is one verse shorter. It's 5 verses (15s) compared to 6 verses (18s) for all the others. Is this a bug?

Nope, 5 verses with Accelerando. Some songs are just shorter.

Yeah, but inflicting 14 bleed icons makes you feel so powerful.

I just started a Bard a minute ago, at level 2, in the first area. I pulled a level 3 orc. Couldn't kill it. Got it to half health and died. Poor Bards.

Goes to show how weak Bleed is prior to endgame that you can stack 14 of them without killing the mob. Seems to deal 0.6875% of their current hp per second.

It deals a percentage of their current health, so it hits harder when their health is high.

You lost me there. It looks like a DoT to me... just like Dirge.

Makes perfect sense to me bro. It's an AE song. A bard is playing an annoying song that hurts their ears. They join the battle. Their ears start to bleed. The AE debuff doesn't appear until they're hit by it for the first time. I have a hard time considering it a buff if it doesn't "buff" yourself at all.
However, I DO see the value of having the buff on yourself because it makes it easier to notice when it's fading.

Alright, I'm convinced. It would be better as a buff.
